Bavarian rolls


Bavarian delicious buns can take the form of a pretzel, tight knot or bun. They can have fun or make them a sandwich. The recipe is not complicated, but the result is excellent pastries.

Ingredients (12 servings):
- 2 tablespoons warm milk;
- 1.3 cups warm water (about 40-45 degrees);
- 2.5 tsp active dry yeast;
- 2 tablespoons melted butter;
- 0.3 cups of brown sugar;
- Coarse salt;
- 4 cups flour;
- 0.5 cups of soda;
- 2 liters of cold water.

How to cook Bavarian rolls?

A. In a large bowl for mixing dough or bread machine mix tank with yeast 0.3 cups warm water. Wait until the yeast is swell.
Two. Pour remaining warm water and milk, and add the butter and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.

If you are using a bread machine, do not mix the ingredients until you add the flour.
Three. Add the flour, turn on "dough" in the bread maker or use a mixer on low speed.
4. Put the dough on a lightly floured table and fold about 2 minutes.
Five. Roll the dough sausage 60 cm long and cut it into 12 equal pieces.
6. Cover the dough with cling film and a damp cloth. Let stand for ten minutes.
7. Form the buns or pretzels and lay at a distance of 2 cm apart on a floured surface. Cover lightly with oil sprinkle with cling film and let the pretzel stand another 30 minutes.
Eight. Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Grease two baking trays with oil.
9. In a large saucepan, bring to a boil cold water, add the baking soda.
10. Drop into boiling water for 30 seconds (but no more than) two pretzel. Once a turn.
11. Carefully remove the dough with a spoon with slits of boiling water, a little hold over the pot to the water glass.
12. Lightly sprinkle with salt. Repeat with the next pair, and all the other rolls.
13. Arrange buns on greased baking sheets and bake in upper and middle shelf of oven about 8-10 minutes, or until the muffins did not turn brown on all sides. Swap the trays, as well as rotate them 90 degrees so that the uniformly propeklos all.
14. Allow the buns to cool on baking sheets for about 5 minutes, then move them to the grid.
15. Serve warm or at room temperature.
