Diet in atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis - a predisposition to excessive production of immunoglobulin in response to contact with any allergens (air, household, food, etc.). Atopy takes three forms of age: it may be infant, child and adult. The greatest value of diet in atopic dermatitis in children is because during this period the disease is often triggered by food allergens.

Diet for infants

During this period the diet did not affect the kids themselves, and their mothers - they are obliged to adjust their diet so as to completely eliminate the allergen from entering into breast milk. Prohibited are:

• Citruses
• Coffee, cocoa and strong tea
• Strawberry and exotic fruits (ie fruits, uncharacteristic of the band)
• spices, smoked and spicy seasoning
• Spicy and fatty cheeses
• Egg yolks
• eggs and seafood
• Condensed milk and any fat dairy products

Mothers are encouraged to maintain a food diary, which will identify products that do not fit the child and remove them from the diet.

Diet for a "bottle-baby"

If your baby is bottle-fed, have carefully selected formula. The position will save:

- Based on a mixture of soy milk;
- Based on a mixture of cow's milk protein gidralizatov.

The diet during the complementary feeding

Complementary foods, especially in the presence of atopic dermatitis, is administered in the diet of the baby after they reach 6 months of age (by this time "ripen" digestive enzymes, so the risk of allergic reactions is reduced). It is very important at this time to conduct a food diary, recording it with new products, as used child and noting the reaction to them. The first portion of the new food should not exceed 1 teaspoon If the body did not accept the "innovations" have temporarily postponed the use of this product. It is noticed that fruits and vegetables with a green and white color are least likely to cause allergies. To this list could include:

• Cauliflower
• Broccoli
• Squash
• Cucumbers
• Green Apples
• White currants

Red and orange vegetables, fruits and berries are best avoided. In addition to painting, it is worth paying attention to the safety aspect of plant foods in chemical terms - are not allowed all kinds of vegetables and fruits brought from afar and exposed for the sake of presentation of the chemical treatment.

Considered safe gluten-free cereals (buckwheat, corn, rice). Cooking them is on the water, vegetable broth or a mixture of hypoallergenic, but not in milk. The real salvation for infants who are prone to atopic dermatitis, are dairy products - they are administered in the diet, starting with a 7-month period. Of the meat products are welcome the following classes:

• Rabbit
• Veal
• Turkey
• Lamb

The child's age and risk factors

The body of every child is different, so we can give only averaged a list of products that could lead to the development of atopic dermatitis.

• Prior years: lactose, milk protein, brightly colored fruits (juices, purees)
• Up to three years: the brightly colored fruit (fresh, juice, mashed potatoes), cereals, chocolate
• After three years: pickles, marinades, spices, cocoa (chocolate), seafood, peanuts, and some varieties of fish

Without paying due attention to the problem, you can seriously aggravate the situation. Be attentive to your child, or atopic dermatitis outgrow "psd" and move into adulthood
